LUCIE CROCRO was born in Prague in 1970. She is represented in private collections in the Czech Republic, England, Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Israel, Germany, Norway and the U.S.A.
1989 - terminated studies at the medium-grade School of Graphic Arts in Prague, Hollar Square.
1989 - 1997 - studies at the Academy of Graphic and Plastic Arts in Prague under Prof.
Jitka Svobodová.
1997 - graduation work “Europa’s Ride”.
Study sojours
1992 - Summer - Academy of Grphic and Plastic Arts in Perugia (Award cf the Academy for
figural drawings).
1992 - Autum - Royal College of Art in London, Studio of Prof. B. Kneal. Received herfrst major
portrait commission.
1994 - Spring - suspension of Prague studies - preparation for the study at Karnataka Chitrakala
Parishad (Academy of Grphic and Plastic Arts) in Bangalore.
1995 - Bangalore, study of oriental composition of mandala.
1997 - 2003 - study of herbs and plant in natural environment of Neveklov area, Bohemia. Her
portrait and other cimmissions enbled her free studies of nature.
Since 2003 she has been living and working in Prague.
At the beginning of 2004 she started preparing the FEMANCIPATION project.
