Femancipation

As preparations started in 2004, Civic association Femancipation was established in 2005 by authors of the project and their friends. The word Femancipation means emancipation or liberation of flowers as a metaphor of importance of every being on the meadow. Portrayed women – patrons of the projects – chose their garden of favorite flowers. From drawing of flowers were issued collector´s prints in limited editions to help people in need. Madame Bettina Lobkowicz  gave the idea of charity dimension to the project.

The structure of the project resembled bee hive:
Bee queen gives birth to her bees,
Portrayed women chooses her flowers,
Bees bring nectar,
Collectors print brings help to people in need.

The idea of flower mosaics and collective mosaic meadow - Loukamosaic joined the idea of collector’s prints.
